AI in CFO Daily - Building AI-Empowered Finance Team

For most finance leaders, AI is no longer a question of whether to adopt, rather it’s how to make it actually workday to day. FEI Houston is happy to invite Anna Tiomina to share how this journey looks like in practice: getting teams past initial pushback, building an internal AI champion or center of excellence, and tracking real ROI rather than vanity metrics. We'll open with a quick state-of-AI snapshot, then move into practical lessons from finance teams currently doing this work, with the goal of leaving CFOs and finance leaders with a few things they can try immediately.

Anna Tiomina is a fractional CFO and the founder of Blend2Balance, where she helps finance leaders put AI to practical use in their day-to-day work. With over 15 years of finance leadership experience and an MBA, she has spent the last several years focused on AI advisory and training for CFOs and finance teams, helping them move past one-off experiments into structured, measurable adoption. Through Blend2Balance, she runs training programs for finance teams of all sizes, writes Balanced AI Insights, a newsletter on AI for finance leaders, and advises companies on building AI-ready finance functions. She speaks and writes regularly on what actually works when finance teams adopt AI, and what tends to trip them up.

Anna has a MBA from WU, Vienna University of Economics and Business and a certificate of Artificial Intelligence for Leaders from University of Texas in Austin.
